In 100 Voices is a theatre event/installation to be held in Bristol (10th Feb 2026) to give artists and writers a chance to say something about the climate crisis.
And for each piece performed and ticket sold the producers, Scratch Theatre, will plant a tree.
In their words:
“In 100 Voices is not just a show — it’s an immersive journey into the climate crisis, a living exhibition that fuses theatre, art, sound, and community action. The space itself transforms: every wall becomes a canvas, every corner invites discovery. Scan QR codes to unlock performances filmed by actors around the world, hear stories from kitchens and forests, beaches and bedrooms — stories without borders, voices without limits.
“Within this creative storm of installation, fabric, music, and light, reflection meets action. At the heart of it all lies the live performance: 15 powerful short monologues and an original play, written by new and established writers and performed by a talented Bristol ensemble. These voices speak from the past, present, and future — stories of loss, resilience, laughter, and awakening.”
Scratch Theatre are looking for a monologue to produce, perform live at the event and film and stream on their social media.
“We’re inviting writers to submit a short monologue (less than 150 seconds) inspired by the climate crisis. Your script could be hopeful, dramatic, personal, or bold,” they’ve asked.
As well as the performance, the winner gets a £55 cash prize – not much but it would cover expenses to see the event. Five runners up will have their work featured in the event’s digital installation.
